Peer support services

As a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) and Registered Peer Recovery Specialist (RPRS), I offer lived‑experience‑based support alongside your existing providers—not instead of them. Sessions can stand alone or work in partnership with therapy, psychiatry, or primary care.

Veterans & military families

Peer support around:

PTSD & moral injury Transition stress Isolation & anger

We can coordinate with VA providers and explore VA Community Care when appropriate so the VA is billed directly once authorization is in place.

Couples & families

Peer‑informed coaching for:

Communication breakdown Trust after addiction Parenting stress

I help you slow down reactivity, name patterns, and build practical daily habits that move relationships in a healthier direction.

Addiction, grief & suicide risk

Support for people facing:

Alcohol & drug use Relapse risk Bereavement & loss Thoughts of suicide

Together we build a safety‑first plan, connect you to higher levels of care when needed, and work on daily, realistic next steps.

Who I help

  • Veterans and active‑duty servicemembers
  • Spouses / partners living with PTSD or addiction in the home
  • Singles navigating divorce, grief, or major life transition
  • People in recovery from alcohol or drug use (or considering it)
  • Adults managing anxiety, depression, or burnout who want practical support from someone who’s been there

I accept most commercial insurance plans and Medicaid, and I offer self‑pay options for those without coverage. We verify benefits up front so there are no surprises.

For Veterans using VA Community Care

  1. Talk with your VA provider about a Community Care consult.
  2. Ask your VA Community Care / Community Care specialist to contact my office.
  3. Once authorization is in place, I bill the VA directly for approved visits.

New clients should start with the call‑back request form so we can confirm your VA or insurance options before scheduling.
